Nova Laboratories was established in 1994 following a management buy out from the NHS. Nova continues to be privately owned and funded.

The initial focus of the business was the supply of compounded products to hospitals, community pharmacies and other healthcare professionals throughout the UK & Eire and this continues to form an important part of the business today.

Nova Laboratories also uses gassed isolator technology (acknowledged by the MHRA and FDA as Advanced Aseptic Technology) and has developed particular expertise in this area. The enviable reputation they have built within the industry has resulted in this now being the largest and fastest growing of their manufacturing activities today.
